Gymnastic grips are used predominantly in CrossFit to protect your hands and enhance your grip on the bar.

High-rep pull-ups, toes-to-bar, chest-to-bar and muscle-ups all create friction and tear on your palms. Grips act as a barrier between your hands and the bar, reducing rips and keeping you training consistently.

Most grips rely on chalk to create friction. The UltraGrip+ doesn't. The rubberised surface delivers high-hold grip straight out of the box. No chalk, no prep, no mess.

No. That's the point. The chalkless design means the grip does the work. Cleaner bars, cleaner hands, cleaner session.

Pull-ups, toes-to-bar, chest-to-bar, muscle-ups. Any high-volume bar work where grip failure or ripping is a limiting factor.

For best performance, use them on smooth, shiny bars that are free from chalk. Using them on rough or chalky bars can significantly reduce durability as it wears the rubber down faster.

Two to be aware of. Pullovers require rotation on the bar and the high tackiness of the UltraGrip+ works against you for that movement.

If your bars are smooth and shiny, yes. Whether you're new to grips or switching from chalk, the UltraGrip+ is the simplest starting point going. No break-in rituals, no chalk dependency. Just put them on and train.

If your rig has rough, chalky bars however, the HyperGrip+ V2 is the better fit for your environment.

For the grips, stick to smooth, shiny bars for best durability. If chalk gets onto the surface, wipe clean with a small amount of water and allow to dry. They'll return to full tackiness.

After every session, fold the velcro strap back onto itself to protect it from picking up debris and keep it gripping strong.

For your sweatbands, please do not put them in the washing machine. They contain magnets and this can cause damage to your appliance. Hand wash only.
